Andy

  • Chief instigator and so
  • Chief worrier and so
  • Chief beer consumer and
  • First back-up porter.
Andy went to Nepal in 1996 when he had more hair and fewer responsibilities.  At that time he completed the Annapurna Circuit hike which is a circular trek around the Annapurna mountains crossing Thorung La pass at an altitude of 5,400m (17,700ft).  It took 24 days but would probably take him 24 weeks now.  Ever since that time he has wanted to return to Nepal and now, 15 years later, the opportunity has arisen only this time he will take his son with him.

Andy will consider this trip a resounding success if the team manages to get to Shizuoka Airport without a serious incident.
